Emily Marie Seale is the Director/Owner of Theatre School of
Dance in Bossier City, Louisiana. She is a Registered
Teacher and an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance,
having passed the 2nd exam level of the Royal Academy of Dance. She is the the premier instructor of the Royal Academy of Dance in our area. Emily received her ballet training from Marion Mills, a national and international dance instructor. Mrs. Mills is known locally for founding Theatre School of Dance and the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet. Emily
also studied under numerous other instructors and artists
locally and at various ballet workshops, including the
national Royal Academy of Dance workshops and a Ballet
Magnificent workshop. In 2006, Mrs. Se ale participated
in an Advanced Teacher Workshop at the Royal Academy
of Dance in London, England. Emily studied tap
extensively at Theatre School of Dance and Dance
Studio Arts.
Emily Marie Seale danced with the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet for twelve years and was a principal dancer during her
Senior Company years. In 2001 she was named Dancer
of the Year for the company. She has taught and
choreographed for various groups in the Shreveport-
Bossier area in addition to her duties at the ballet school.
She is presently the director of Adorare Performing Arts Company and a certified Pilates instructor through the Physical Mind Institute.
Emily’s desire is to encourage the development of
‘the arts’ in the community, as well as to be a strong
positive influence on the youth of Shreveport and
Bossier City.
Mrs. Seal is currently studying with the Association of International Dance Teachers working on bringing Tap and Modern/Jazz exams to the Theatre School of Dance.
Emily Seale has a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Louisiana State University in Shreveport.
